Jesus Christ is coming soon! The gospel or good news reminds us that the penalty of our sins has already been paid. All we need to do is accept the gift of grace by faith. But as we do this, let us watch for the signs of his return. We need to be aware that deception and counterfeit faith are everywhere. We must reach out and declare the three-angels message of Revelation 14.

We should always be ready to defend our faith and give the reason for our faith. Gone are the days when most Christians just rely on their pastors or elders for spiritual defence. A Christian must be a case maker and defender of the gospel using the Bible as the primary weapon and the book of nature and reason as a secondary tool.

Jesus said to his followers to "Occupy 'til I come". We may have the gospel truth but if we don't help those in need, then we are no more different from the hypocritical Pharisees.
We have given away food during distressing times, supported church-building projects and made some children smile during the year-end. We cannot stop now.
